EDH Family Loop ("we," "us," or "our") operates edhfamilyloop.com, a paid membership platform that helps families in El Dorado Hills, CA stay connected to local events, sports, classes, camps, enrichment activities, and aligned service providers. We are a small, community-focused team based in El Dorado Hills, CA.

2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
Family preferences. To personalize your activities and provider feed, you may optionally provide information about your categorical interests. This information is stored in your profile and used only to share relevant information with members.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
Usage data. We may collect basic, anonymized usage information (such as pages viewed or features used) to help us improve the platform.
Community submissions. If you submit an event, add a local provider, or contribute other community content, that content may be visible to other members of the platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Deliver your personalized experience — relevant events, sports leagues, provider information, and enrichment options
- Send smart notifications based on your preferences (you control these)
- Process your membership subscription via Stripe
- Respond to your questions or support requests
- Improve the platform and fix issues
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. See Section 4 below for how this applies to advertising.
4. Advertising
EDH Family Loop is a paid membership platform first — advertising is not, and will not become, our primary source of revenue. That said, we do incorporate limited advertising and sponsored content, primarily in our weekly newsletter. We also reserve the right to introduce modest advertising placements on the website itself in the future, such as banners or occasional promotional messages.
We do not share, sell, or provide advertisers with access to your personal information. If our approach to advertising changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we will update this policy and notify members as described in Section 11.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Stripe — to process your subscription payment
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores your account and preference data securely
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public
We do not share your schedule, family information, or personal details with any other third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and preference data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your membership and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial recordkeeping purposes.

- Request deletion of your account and personal data

EDH Family Loop is designed for use by parents and guardians aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls that limit who can view your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.
10. Cookies
We use session cookies necessary for authentication and keeping you signed in. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on the website. If we introduce website advertising in the future (see Section 4), we may begin using limited advertising-related cookies and will update this policy accordingly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of EDH Family Loop after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
