1. About EDH Family Loop
EDH Family Loop ("the Service") is a paid membership platform at edhfamilyloop.com that helps families in El Dorado Hills, CA stay organized and connected to local schools, youth sports, community events, enrichment activities, and local resources. The Service is operated by EDH Family Loop, based in El Dorado Hills, CA.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of your household.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at info@edhfamilyloop.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for any losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
You may not create accounts for others without their consent, share your account credentials, or use the Service to impersonate any person or organization.
4. Membership and Payment
EDH Family Loop is a paid subscription service. Membership is available at the following rates:
- Monthly: $5.00 per month
- Annual: $50.00 per year
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate you selected until you cancel.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, but we will not charge you after your subscription ends.
Refunds. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to the Service, contact us within 7 days and we will review your situation and issue a refund at our discretion.
Price changes. We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use EDH Family Loop only for lawful, community-oriented purposes. You may not:
- Submit false, misleading, or spam content (fake events, fake providers, etc.)
- Harass, threaten, or harm other members or community contributors
- Attempt to access, scrape, or extract data from the platform in unauthorized ways
- Use the Service to promote commercial products or services without our written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the platform
- Share your account access with others outside your immediate household
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Community-Submitted Content
Members may submit events, local provider listings, and other community content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you represent that:
- The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You have the right to submit it
- It does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party
You retain ownership of User Content you submit. By submitting it, you grant EDH Family Loop a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform and in related communications (such as newsletters or social media posts highlighting community events).
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine is not in the community's best interest.
7. Third-Party Services
EDH Family Loop integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and data storage), and calendar providers (Apple, Google, Microsoft Outlook) for optional calendar sync. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
8. Accuracy of Information
We work hard to keep event listings, school calendars, sports schedules, and local information current and accurate. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all content on the platform. Always verify time-sensitive information (such as game schedules or event details) directly with the organizing party before relying on it.
9. Intellectual Property
The EDH Family Loop name, logo, design, and original content are owned by EDH Family Loop and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
EDH Family Loop is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EDH Family Loop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of El Dorado County, California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
